A world without Agunot – increasing public awareness
Mavoi Satum works to completely eradicate the phenomenon of Agunot, so that women do not encounter a reality that prevents them from living a free life.
To mobilize wider support we operate in the public arena, at events, campaigns, and public performances. We strive to increase awareness and create pressure on decision-makers and the Chief Rabbinate to implement the solutions to the problem of Agunot.
Married to the Future: A traveling art exhibition
The exhibition assembles a diverse collection of artworks by contemporary artists that examine the subject of agunot and ‘Mesuravot Get’ (women whose husbands refuse them a Get) via different media, shedding light on the women’s personal and legal struggle and its increasing circles of influence.
In this exhibition, we sought to connect the women’s private experience and an artistic language that, by nature, tends to be universal and relates toa broad common denominator.
